Akoreps Inc. ("Akoreps," "we," "us," or "our") operates the akoreps.com website and the Akoreps
sales practice platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it,
who we share it with, and the choices you have regarding your data.
By using our website or platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described
in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Early-access sign-up: first name, last name, work email address, company name, role, and sales team size.
- Account creation: email address and, optionally, your name — provided via magic-link sign-up or single sign-on (SSO).
- SSO profile data: when you sign in through Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address, and a provider-specific user identifier.
- Onboarding questionnaire: company details, product descriptions, sales process information, competitor information, team details, uploaded files, and data automatically extracted from your company website.
- Practice sessions: the messages you exchange with AI-generated buyer personas during practice simulations.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Authentication tokens: we store a short-lived JSON Web Token (JWT) in your browser's session storage to keep you signed in. This token is not a cookie and is cleared when you close your browser tab.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide our services: generate AI buyer personas, run practice simulations, and deliver coaching insights based on your product and buyer profile.
- Authenticate you: verify your identity through magic-link emails or SSO providers.
- Communicate: send transactional emails such as magic-link sign-in messages and early-access updates.
- Manage your organization: group users by email domain so teams can share personas and practice data.
- Improve and develop: analyze aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve the platform.
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on a limited set of third-party providers to deliver and operate the platform. Each provider processes data only as necessary for the service it provides.
- Anthropic — powers the AI buyer personas. Conversation content from practice sessions is sent to the Anthropic API for response generation.
- Google Cloud Platform — hosts our application infrastructure (Cloud Run), database (Cloud SQL), and provides text-embedding services (Vertex AI). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Resend — delivers transactional emails (magic-link sign-in, notifications).
- Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn — provide single sign-on authentication when you choose to sign in through one of these providers.
- Google Fonts — serves web fonts on our marketing site. Google may collect your IP address when fonts are loaded.
- Netlify — hosts the marketing website and processes early-access form submissions.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Akoreps platform does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts. Authentication is handled via a JWT stored in browser session storage — not in a cookie.
Our marketing site, hosted on Netlify, may set limited operational cookies required for site delivery and security. These are not used for tracking or advertising.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Application data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on Google Cloud SQL with encryption at rest enabled.
- All secrets and API keys are managed through Google Cloud Secret Manager.
- All connections use SSL/TLS encryption in transit.
- Access to production infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel through identity-based access controls.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, contact us at privacy@akoreps.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Request a portable copy of your data.

8. Children's Privacy
Akoreps is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
